As I was looking at those lovely pictures on my blog regarding Kosova, than I was thinking is it really that beautiful, does it have so many picturesque places and landscapes? The answer is YES. Kosovo does have a beautiful resources and is a potential destination to develop tourism industry. But than the other question comes up. Where the hell are the tourists than? A simple answer is they don't know. In their mind when Kosova is mentioned always comes up the war the troubles and all the terrible things that happened just 9 years ago.
But that is 9 years ago surely the government should have thought to somehow earn the money and do something about the economy that is currently low and very poor. Instead they are taking a long winter sleep and all they do is rely on the foreign investments and donations that end up in a corruption anyway. Tourism nowadays is seen as a generator to contribute towards the increase of the economy and other factors that will help the destination develop. Therefore my motto is "You have the resources than Bring the tourists" However, despite the resources in Kosovo the tourism industry is low and mainly based on the domestic tourism. This is due to the government low interest in this industry and mainly lack of awareness regarding of what this industry can bring to the country.

Balkan-tourism
I am currently doing master degree based on International Tourism in the University of Greenwich, London. Specifically my concerns are the tourism in Balkan as originally I come from that part of the world.
As we are aware the tourism in some parts of the balkan although good resources are available, does not seems to be as attractive as it could be to the international tourism. An example of this is Albania, Monte Negro, Kosovo, Bullgaria etc. I am interested on anyone who wants to share this ideas to contact me and see what we come up with.
